Today is my best pal, J's birthday! 생일축하합니다!
This year's birthday celebration for her from the crazy foursome ladies are a Batam Weekend Getaway!

The 2 days trip was very tiring all because of the one day tour in Batam city. The only thing I can remember is we go up and down the coach because every destinations are just 10mins away. The shopping centre in Batam isn't too fantastic so we almost spend more time on food than shopping.

The only comforting thing is Novotel Batam is good and comfortable. We had dinner at a Japanese Restaurant in the hotel and then when we are back in hotel room, we prepare a surprise for the birthday girl. Funny thing is when I got the cake, the shop person say they do not provide candles! WHAT!! Then we tried to get a candle from the hotel recept but they took forever to come. As I was sharing room with the birthday girl, Jo and WL waited for the candle to arrive in the other room. Birthday girl was questioning how come the other 2 girls took so long to come over to our room (we said we will drink and snack in our room). Then without a choice, we came in with the cake (without a candle). *_*!!!

Anyway birthday girl is being nice, she don't mind at all without a candle and she finished the cake. haha! The rest of us are too full from the dinner and we started snacking and drinking while watching tv.

I am very surprised as this is the first time I managed to sleep through the night in a hotel room. This shows how comfortable the bed is. We had hotel breakfast next morning but the food wasn't fantastic so we decided to go back to room to rest and continue snacking. haha! This time me and J went over to their room to slack until the time for book out. I fell asleep somehow and finally half an hour before checkout, we went back to room to pack up and I continue to nap on my bed.

We had A&W for lunch but the service there is really *_*!!!. So called FAST FOOD!

Finally we boarded the ferry at 5.30pm and reach SG at 6.30pm. Thanks for J's brother for picking us up and I managed to get home at 7pm. I am super tired so I sleep real early. Monday is going to be a super tiring day for me!
